The Automated Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and set up moderately complex to advanced manufacturing equipment per technical documentation. This role directly supports high-speed manufacturing lines to ensure maximum uptime, productivity, and safety. Duties include performing routine and emergency repairs, executing preventive maintenance schedules, conducting root-cause analysis on failures, and implementing long-term technical solutions to prevent recurring issues. Senior-level techs will also assist with continuous improvement, small capital projects, and mentoring junior technicians.

• Education: High school diploma/GED required. Completion of technical trade school, formal apprenticeship, or Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance / Engineering Technology preferred.
• Experience:
• Level II: Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in automated production/packaging systems.
• Level III: Minimum 3 years hands-on experience.
• Level IV+: Minimum 6+ years hands-on experience with project lead capabilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals. Solid troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and electrical controls. Or any combination of these skills.
• Experience with PLCs, vision systems, or robotics is a strong plus.
• Schedule Capability: Ability to work a 12-hour Fireman’s rotating shift schedule in Rochester, NY.
