Job Description

This company is seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians to join its heavy industrial manufacturing team in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of heavy production machinery across 400,000+ square feet of plant space. Key responsibilities include diagnosing 480V electrical circuits, troubleshooting complex hydraulic presses and press brakes, maintaining mechanical systems, and servicing CNC and welding equipment. You will work off blueprints and schematics to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. This position offers high overtime potential and a dynamic workload in a supportive, family-owned facility dedicated to national defense and heavy infrastructure projects.

While a multi-craft technician would be the best fit for this, they will consider candidates stronger in electrical OR electronic OR mechanical (especially hydrualics), who are willing to learn other skills.

Requirements

Will consider candidates with one or more of the following experiences:

  • Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Electrical Skills: Demonstrated capability in troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems and reading electrical schematics. Electrical certification is preferred but not a must have.
  • Mechanical & Fluid Power: Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and general mechanical systems.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals unassisted. PLC or CNC troubleshooting experience is a major plus but not a must have.
  • Mindset: Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a large-scale heavy metal fabrication environment.
