As the Procurement Associate you will procure materials, supplies, and services to support business operations in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Your core responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing, issuing purchase orders, and monitoring delivery performance.

The role involves tactical execution, including creating material numbers and purchase orders directly in SAP S4 HANNA.

You will compile and analyze historical spend data in Excel to support sourcing decisions and identify cost-reduction opportunities.

This position demands you to have proactive collaboration with site operations to ensure immediate fulfillment of urgent manufacturing needs without stalling production. They need someone who understands the urgency of having materials and supplies on time in a manufacturing environment.

Someone who will find what is needed, having it ready to go when it is needed and will worry about fixing procedures when they have spare time.

• A Bachelor's degree (Industrial & Systems Engineering or related) is strongly preferred, though extensive relevant military or manufacturing experience can substitute.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supplier Evaluations, or Vendor Management is required.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing purchasing is mandatory. (military experience may work as well)
• Proficiency with SAP S4 HANNA and Excel is required.
• The candidate must be available to work standard 8 AM to 5 PM hours, with flexibility to respond to urgent operational calls on weekends
