This company is seeking a full-time, results-driven Security Service Specialist to join the Albany NY team. In this role, you will service, program, and maintain electronic security systems for existing customers, handle scheduled maintenance, and assist with small project commissioning. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex technical issues, ensuring seamless operation across access control, CCTV, and intrusion platforms. You MUST be able to show you have direct experience with these systems.

They need someone with strong communication skills as you will be dealing directly with customers.

It is mostly a Monday-Friday day shift role driving to customer sites but hours vary depending on company needs. Overnight travel is limited to about 10% or less.

This position focuses strictly on high-level technical field execution, routine and emergency service calls, system commissioning, and complex troubleshooting. Any proven industry experience and existing certifications across multiple security, access control, CCTV, and intrusion platforms (e.g., Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Milestone) would be helpful but they may consider low voltage electronics experience as well.

• Experience: 5–7 years servicing, integrating, and programming electronic security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion) or possibly other low voltage electronics systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of low-voltage electronics, system programming, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Preferred System Experience: Lenel, Software House (CCURE), Genetec, Milestone, AMAG, S2, DMP, or Bosch.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
